Foggers
Foggers propel a fine mist that can be used for cleaning, destroying mold, creating humidity or keeping biting insects at bay. There are thermal foggers that use heat to disperse the mist and are designed for out door use and there are types of cold fogger that are designed for indoor use.
Foggers that use a pyrethrin base insecticide create a cloud that will knock down insects. Thermal foggers use heat to create a constant mist that streams from the machine like smoke. Designed as an insect fogger, they are used to keep mosquitoes, flies, gnats and biting insects away or to create a humid environment or distribute fertilizer for plants. They are suitable for use outdoors and can cover a large area. They are not recommended for indoor use.
The Burgess fogger is an outdoor bug fogger that uses pyrethrin based insecticide.
Using a gas or diesel thermal fogger will keep a steady stream of mist floating in the atmosphere when needed. The size of the droplets determines how long the mist will stay suspended. The smaller the droplets the longer the mist will last. The ultrasonic fogger or mist maker is useful for enhancing a water feature or fountain feature. The ultrasonic can be used outdoors or in a green house situation.
A fogger mister can be used indoors to create atmosphere similar to that caused by dry ice. The fogger can create humidity, clear the air, dispense aromatherapy scents, or create the perfect atmosphere for growing orchids in a green house environment.
A three headed fogger or an aeroponic fogger is capable of distributing fertilizers or humidity in fine droplets that can be absorbed by plants. For this application they are useful for distributing fertilizers as well as insecticides.
Foggers can regulate the size of droplets and the strength of the insecticide. When using foggers of any type ensure the insecticide is specifically designed for use in that type of fogger.
A mold aerosol fogger or a mold fogger can be used to pinpoint areas needing attention. They are used for care detailing or where mold is a problem. Cleaning and treatment can be maintained easily with specially designed foggers.
An indoor flea and tick fogger, or total release foggers are often referred to as bug bombs. The flea fogger or simple bug fogger can be as simple to use as setting up an aerosol can and letting the mist spread to fill the room. When the mist has settled the bugs are treated and the air is again safe to breathe.
